(BPCL), which controls around 12% of India\u2019s lubricants market, under the Mak brand, is launching two synthetic lubricants for premium cars and bikes this week.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The company is launching Mak TitaniumCK4, which is an ultra-low emission diesel engine oil for BS-VI compliant vehicles, and Mak BlazeSynth for high-end bikes.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\u201cWhile both products have been successfully piloted in a few markets like Delhi-NCR, its nationwide commercial launch is slated for next week,\u201d BPCL Executive Director In-Charge (Lubes Business) Santosh Kumar said last Friday.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The introduction of the new Bharat Stage VI standards in April 2020 has required more advanced lubricant formulations.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\u201cFor the modern higher capacity motorcycles, we are launching Mak BlazeSynth, which is a fully synthetic lube, offering high oxidation stability that inhibits oil degradation at elevated temperatures and reduces engine deposits, resulting in better engine performance,\u201d Kumar said.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Mak BlazeSynth is available in 1 and 2.5 litres.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Mak TitaniumCK4 is an ultra-low emission synthetic diesel engine oil for BS-VI compliant vehicles. A lower viscosity engine oil, Mak TitaniumCK4 provides better fuel economy than conventionals.
